Michael Young six-time All-Star, a batting champion and the clubhouse leader for the reigning American League champions. On Wednesday, Young cemented his status as one of the Arizona Fall League's greatest alumni when he was inducted into the league's Hall of Fame receiving his plaque. A member of the Grand Canyon Rafters in 2000, Young also had his number 6 retired during the ceremony. Young played in 106 games in 2001 and 156 the next season. Starting in 2003, he hit at least .300 for five consecutive seasons, which included a batting title in 2005. He was named the Most Valuable Player in the All-Star Game in 2006 and won a Gold Glove Baseball Trophy in 2008.
